Park

City of Gloucester Good Harbor Beach public lot (Witham Street). Summer fee. Not a resident-only sticker beach.

Walk in

2–10 minutes from the lot to public sand and the salt-island bar at low tide.

Wading

Open beach. Bar toward Salt Island on a dropping tide. Wash on the open sand.

Usual window

Moving water, first light. Hard east wind is a slog.
